HI,

It means, basically, that you pay a single fee but get the right to create more than one website (say: one site about your hobbies and another site about your company —or, in the case of "reseller packages", one site for your client A, and another one for client B).

Each of these websites would have its own domain, e.g., "myhobby.com" and "mycompany.com".

In that example, you would probably want to keep the sites completely separate (i.e., on different domains), or risk looking rather unprofessional!

However, it's not a good idea to register multiple domain names with the intention of submitting them all to search engines, in order to get more traffic —the search engines will likely see right through this strategy, and they may perhaps even punish you for it...

Hi Nile,

As for me add-on domain means, The add-on domain will appear as a totally separate domain from your primary domain. There should be no evidence that your domain is an add-on domain to incoming traffic when they visit your add-on domain.

An add-on domain is a fully functional domain that can be created from within your control panel. Think of it as having multiple hosting packages all sharing the same control panel. You can give them email addresses, forwarders, and more the same way you do for your main domain on the account.

It means that you have hosted one site but it can be accessed by more then one name. So its beneficial for many reasons.
